Permits Required

Travelers wishing to visit Khardungla Pass must obtain an Inner Line Permit or a Protected/Restricted Area Permit. These permits will be verified at North Pullu and South Pullu on either side of the pass. Furthermore, Khardungla Pass is a vital route to Nubra Valley and the Siachen Glacier, recognized as the highest battlefield in the world.
