It is perfect day trek for intermediate or moderate trekkers and not recommended for beginners as it will be difficult for beginners. You have two options to get to the starting point of the trek. First to walk for about 45 minutes to an hour or drive from your stay till the starting point of the trek or the last Agricultural farms.
From there you will start your hike/trek of the day. After walking for while the main valley widens and you can see in the distance the main ridge of Ladakh Mountains. After a while of the ascent through the side valley side you can already see the highest point of the trek.
If you are lucky enough, you will spot some wild animals like Blue Sheep and Urials on the way or on the mountain ridges nearby you.
After walking for while you will get to the base of the main Pass and from here begins the hardest part of this whole trek/hike – ascend of about 600 – 700 meters to the pass. The views will become better and better with the increasing in altitude. When you reach on the highest point of the trek, which is at an elevation of 4800 meters with stunning views of the Indus valley and Ladakh Range. The view from the pass, you can see how the main path to pass Lasermo La rises through the way.
While descending from the pass, the trial is steep and there a chance to fall. So, make sure to walk on the right path for own safety. After descend from the pass, you will reach nearby a river from there make sure you are on the right path otherwise you have to walk few hundred meters until you find a place where the flow divides into several streams that you will dare to jump.
After crossing the river, you will reach at your final destination called Murubrok which is at an altitude of 3900m. From here your day hike/trek ends.
